I use a AKG-tuned headphone ( https://www.amazon.com/Headphones-Titanium-samsung-EO-IG955-Earphones/dp/B072J8XD3D ), which have a built-in mic for record on smartphones.I bought a splitter to split into individual audio jack and microphone jack ( https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Headphone-Splitter-Computer-Smartphone/dp/B00Y4663GG ) so i can use the headphone on PC. My window 10 detected the mic, but when i test the mic, i didn’t work. I just don’t know how to fix it.

Hello, I would recommend that you reinstall the audio drive for your computer/laptop from the manufacturer’s official website so that we can make sure it’s not a driver issue. If you don’t know how to get it, please send me your computer model number and I’ll redirect you.

If this tip doesn’t solve your problem, then we may think about returning the splitter and getting a USB one, some people say it works better with the USB like this one:

I’ll be waiting for your reply… have a great day!

Thanks, but something weird happened. After reinstalling the driver and connect my earphone to my PC via the splitter, the mic still doesn’t work. But when i  press the Up and Down volume button on my earphone, which are close to the mic, my computer received it as a input signal from my earphone :)) What is actually happening right now :)) ??? lmao

I think it’s just a noisy signal that’s resulting from the clicked buttons, but not a voice signal. So I would recommend that you do as I suggested and tell me the result 😀 I know it’s super weird but we’re doing our best!
