One night well me and my friend got tired of playing Overwatch we went on you-tube and watch some videos together however randomly well we were watching he suddenly wasn’t able to hear me, after trying to fix it he told me he could hear my PC but not me. That happend 2 days ago and I still can’t figure out what’s wrong. My friends can hear my PC clear as ever but they can’t hear me. I am using windows 10, my headset is a Logitech G230, and my the mic has been working for a long time, it is only now that the mic suddenly won’t work.

Hey PepeSquirtal. Since you haven’t changed anything, it’s possible that your mic went bust.

Try your mic on a different PC, or a different mic on the same PC, and let us know what happened.

Hello SixPackOLope,
this is a common issue, it’s okay I’ll do my best to help you.
First, I need to know if your microphone is a normal 3.5 mm jack or USB?
You said you tried everything do you mean you followed these steps?
If yes, I’d recommend a full restart with all power sources off (If it’s a laptop, unplug charger and remove the battery for sometime and if it’s a PC unplug the power cable too), then retry to connect the microphone another time. Please provide me with more details about the microphone model number, your PC or laptop model, steps you followed and we’ll try to figure it out together. Good luck!

I reset My PC dusted out some of the ports and connected it to my motherboard audio jack instead of the audio jack on the front of my pc and it started working.
I also uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them a few times previous to the PC Reset.
