Hello chamber06, are using the official software for Audio box? If you aren’t, please download it from here:
https://www.presonus.com/products/AudioBox-USB/downloads
Resetting your computer might solve the problem, but we must run out of solutions first in order to try it. I’ll be waiting for your reply, have a nice day!

Ok so i’ve tried basically everything, but my headset still wont work. I’ve gotten a splitter cable, connected it to my PC, got the right program that is compatible with my motherboard. I got the privacy settings correct, i restarted my PC. The mic from my headset(TurtleBeach headset btw) works on other devices but is never picked up by any program. I select it on Realtek HD audio manager as a mic in, but it never registers as a mic. It doesn’t register on the program nor on WIndows. It’s driving me mad i just want to have my mic and headset at the same time.

Hello Avampdank, please make sure that your headset is designed to be compatible with your PC from the table in this page:
https://support.turtlebeach.com/hc/en-us/articles/234687127-Drivers-for-Turtle-Beach-Headsets
Also, the splitter you bought, is it a USB type or 3.5mm jack?
You mentioned having the program compatible with your motherboard, but how about the driver? you sure have got the best audio driver for it?
Finally, make sure you have the latest Windows 10 version, so check for updates because many people mentioned this solved their problem. I’ll be waiting for your reply.

I think the problem is that my headset isn’t compatible. They only have a singular 3.5mm cord and thus install no drivers. Thank you, I’ll get back to you once i buy a new headset and see if it works then.

Great, I’ll be waiting for it. Good luck!

Sorry it took so long,i never really had time to give an update, but i fixed the audio, i got a pair of Corsair Void Pros and that fixed my mic problem because the audio drivers allowed my mic to be recognized

My new Blue Yeti Mic works perfectly fine (No drivers involved). I’ve tested it through the windows and it works perfectly fine. I try to go into steam and discord to use it, all settings point to them being correct and nothing. I do the privacy access and it didn’t work (even with the restart). Everything done on this list and nothing works.

Hello Reboink,
try to disable all other recording devices in the list and make your Mic the only one enabled and set it as default as well, give your computer a restart (not a shut down then a power on) and see if it works… Come back for further help if needed… Good luck!

I can’t use reCAPTCHA so I can’t make my own post:
I can only talk in discord and in other apps like skype, teamspeak, in games, etc. all that comes across as fuzz. I’m using a Blue Yeti, is this happening because of hardware or is there something I can do to fix this?

on July 23, 2018

We are so sorry about hte reCAPTCHA issue, we are working on solving it.
I suggest that you try to record your voice using Voice Recorder (windows default app) and see if it’s the same there. You will then have to download the Audio driver from your computer manufacturer’s official website, install it and then give your computer a couple of restarts and see if it’s okay.
If you can’t find the suitable driver, please reply with your computer/laptop model number and I’ll help you find it.
If nothing works, maybe there is something wrong with the hardware, try to replace the microphone or borrow one to check and make sure it’s a hardware problem.
